Government of Belize launches National Commission for Persons with Disabilities

By Zoila Palma:  Today, the Government of Belize, through the Ministry of Human Development, Family Support and Gender Affairs launched the National Commission for Persons with Disabilities. The National Commission is the principal body responsible for promoting and monitoring the rights of persons with disabilities, while advising policymakers on their effective implementation across Belize.
